Which Android version is on it? Do you still get updates after X years or does the fridge then become a member of a botnet?

Which Android version is on it?
The Family Hub is based on Tizen, not Android.

How long do I get updates for this Android version?
Samsung guarantees the functionality of the product for the lifetime with the current Tizen version.

Or can newer Android versions always be downloaded? And if so, which ones?
New updates are sent directly to the device, so the user does not have to download any updates himself.
