Under return and guarantee it says: 30 days right of return - unopened This product can only be returned in unopened condition. This means that if I open the package and the ice cream maker does not work, I cannot return it?

You can return the device unopened for 30 days. If the unit is defective, you have a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase!
