Question about Brandson Passenger compartment heater - mobile car heater - comfort defroster parking heater fan heater

The device is shown here with an EU plug, but I received it with an adapter. I need the original plug for my application and cannot remove the adapter for the life of me. Has anyone had the same problem and can help?
