This is normal because the warm room air condenses on the refrigerant evaporator (= cooling section) and drips off. In a car, the condensing water on the evaporator drips onto the road; in a monobloc device, it drips onto the refrigerant condenser (= heating section), where it is vaporised again and discharged to the outside with the warm air via the hose. The water noise indicates that the air conditioning unit is working normally.
