Is this really 18000 BTU?
I bought one and I get the feeling it's more 10k real BTUs rather than what I think is a marketing trick with 18000.
Been reading in the US about 2 different measurement systems whereas the older one was reporting fantasy BTU values and the more recent one constrains the vendors to report something that's more accurate to what the user experiences.
Without closing my living room door it's not capable to reduce the temperature more than 3-4 degrees (29-30 without the Duux, 26 with it ON)

We were happy to enquire about this and it was confirmed to us that 18000 BTU/h is correct. If you suspect that your unit is defective, this can be looked at in the service centre as a warranty case.
