Question about Koenig HeatsBox
Is the material on the inside of the lid (silvery) also stainless steel? Does the vapour from the food come into contact with non-stainless steel?
The box is sealed with stainless steel when closed.
The inside of the lid is also a heating body, hence stainless steel.
The food only touches stainless
The inside of the lid is not stainless steel. However, no vapour is produced when reheating because only the stainless steel container heats up. The food is only heated up and not boiled at 100 °C like hot water. So this is not a problem.
