Is it possible to use it on the terrace? Does it make a lot of smoke?
I don't understand the question "on a terrace?", if it's a balcony with neighbours on it, it makes smoke but no smell... To be discussed with them in case it bothers them.
On the other hand, if it is an outside terrace, no worries... The smoke is mainly at start up and if you are using wood, I think the smoke is quite acceptable.
And most importantly, once you've mastered the machine, the pizzas are the best you've ever eaten. You just have to learn how to use it and have good ingredients.
Frankly I don't regret this purchase. A real wood fired pizza oven. And I assure you that I am an expert in pizza... Greetings
Balcony - NO
Terrace - yes depending on your neighbors. It does emit smoke time to time in between when you can not focus on the oven. I use it on the terrace. Never had any issues. Last week we make 20 pizzas in a row.
At full power, I would say almost no smoke. Afterwards, if you close the chimney cowl, smoke may be released. It is also possible that the type of pellets influences the phenomenon.
The oven makes smoke, but if you position it well in relation to the wind, it is not a problem. On an open terrace there is no problem, but I would not use it on a balcony where the smoke cannot escape.
