Question about Midea PortaSplit
Is it known whether Midea has addressed the condensate pump issue? Is a new version planned?

As far as I understand it, Midea has installed a new type of sieve in the newer versions (from 2026). The problem seems to be solved. I assume they have enlarged the mesh. I would be very interested in such a new sieve. Information without guarantee! I haven't seen one yet.
I suspect that my blockage was caused by not winterizing the MPS last year before storing it. Meaning, I didn't drain the remaining condensation water from the tub. This caused the water to become sludgy, and this sludge clogged the filter. As I said, my theory and unproven.
