Question about Tefal Oleoclean Compact FR7016 Deep Fryer
I recently bought the deep fat fryer. Unfortunately, the instructions are miserable and I'm supposed to figure it out from the pictures. What is the reset button on the fryer for? Do you have to press it every time you refill it, or what is it for? Unfortunately I couldn't work it out from the picture gallery. Are there no written instructions for use that are not just words?

There is no reason to press this button unless there is a problem.
The reset button can be used to reset the safety device that protects the deep fryer. This can be compared to a fuse that blows in the event of a short circuit (e.g. water in the housing) or overheating. This should not happen during normal operation and therefore you do not need to press this button. Only if the deep fryer stops working can you try to revive it with this button.
