I bought this sensor and only wanted to use it as a temperature and humidity sensor (without integration into a SmartHome; I also don't have an access point). However, I can't get the humidity to be displayed; only the temperature is displayed. Can I only set this with the app? And is the Access Point absolutely necessary for this? I can't do anything in the app without it.

From my point of view, this sensor really only works in conjunction with an Access Point or a Homematic CCU. It only makes limited sense on its own.

Hello. The STHD can only be configured via the AP or CCU. If a display is required, then the "alternative product" WTH-2 or WTH-B should be used. These can be operated as standalone devices and can be operated via the buttons or rotary knob. I myself have only used the STHD's, but according to Bed. According to the instructions, the other two proposed products should be configurable according to your wishes, even without third-party devices. without guarantee.
