Question about Midea Porta Split

this is a mobile split system, the outer part with the fan is firmly connected to the inner part via the hose and cannot be separated. if you want to close the window or the door, you take the outer part and place it on top of the inner part. there is also a thin plate in the package that you place on the inner part so that the outer part holds more securely and the inner part is not damaged. i can only tell you that i have been waiting for over a year for the porta split to become available. it is the only mobile split system at this price, and one of the quietest and most efficient.

This is not intended and does not work at all. The system cannot be disconnected.

Unfortunately this is not possible, you always have to take the outer part in, everything is firmly connected
