Question about Wood's AC Cortina 12K Smart Home

How can I test whether the dehumidification works (does the unit dehumidify at all in "Cool" mode?)? What surprised me is that the humidity did not really go down, the relative humidity remains at 55% (as much as at the beginning) even after 2 hours of continuous operation, is that to be expected? (Both in Cool and in Dehum (dehumidification) mode).

As an addition : I see that you cannot select the target humidity in "Dehum" mode (is that supposed to be the case?). I monitor the humidity with an external hygrometer.
