Can anyone give me their opinion as to whether my system is possibly defective? I have the feeling that the system should be able to cool much more than what it does for me.
It runs at 50% all night, cooling set to 16°. It is well insulated in my 16m2 room in a new build flat. Windows and doors closed.

Result according to the app after 9 hours of operation.
Target temp. 16 C°
Indoor temp. 21 C°
Outdoor temp. 19 C°

Hey, I would say so. The air conditioning in our 45 square metre room (albeit with a sloping roof, so less volume) cools it down by several degrees. With an outside temperature of 32 degrees and what felt like 25 degrees inside, it took a few hours (approx. 1-2) until it was noticeably colder. We didn't measure everything, but after a few hours we were usually able to switch off the air conditioning or set it to a target temperature of 21 degrees.

This doesn’t sound right. Did you leave enough space around the inside unit ?
