Does your supplier check or adjust the "off set" of the PID temperature control? seems to be a known "problem" with the Ascaso...

No - at least not for me. Galaxus' repair partner is the Messinacoffeestore in Otelfingen (I think it's also the general importer in Switzerland). So if this is important to you, it's best to have a look at their homepage (they also do a great job, by the way). In future, I would only buy such a machine from a specialist dealer. Galaxus did a very poor job with my machine when it came to warranty claims.
