Can you clean it well?remove the grille?my wing fan had dirt on the edge of the blades(propeller) very quickly.
You can clean it well with a cloth between the grids. I'm not sure if you can remove the grille, but I'd say not. However, we have had the fan for almost three years and I have to say that it is not very dirty yet (only used in summer).
Hello Digitalus, it's similar for me, the 'air slots' in the front and rear areas can be cleaned easily, as can the 'intake duct', for example with a hoover or 'feather duster'. On the other hand, the unit cannot be opened. The upper section alone is fixed at the back with at least eight (Phillips) screws, so the 'fan' is not easily accessible. But even after one year with an average of about five operating hours/day (during about five months so far), I can't notice any noticeable dirt that would impair operation. I hope this helps you, bye.
