Can you also connect the Philips Hue bridge to it or do you absolutely need the Tado bridge?

It is mandatory to use the Tado Bridge. But as with Philips Hue, several bridges can be used (in a larger house).
The Tado Bridge registered in the cloud determines the range of functions (V3 vs. V3+).
