Question about KitchenAid glacé essay
Can anyone tell me how big the freezer compartment has to be? The dimensions are a bit incomprehensible to me and I wonder if it will fit in a standard freezer compartment.
The dimensions are 28 x 23.2 x 18 cm. If the attachment is placed optimally, i.e. diagonally, a compartment of 18 cm height and 21.6 cm width and 21.6 cm depth is sufficient.
According to the manufacturer, the dimensions are 28 x 26.4 x 16 cm.
Since I no longer have the attachment, I can't measure it.
But there were no problems putting the bowl in a standard refrigerator with a "normal" freezer compartment. It just takes up a lot of space. What you also have to bear in mind is that you can't make ice cream on the spur of the moment, because you have to put the ice cream attachment in the freezer a day in advance.
