Application: The ABN-FBH actuator is designed for optimal control of valves on heating circuit distributors. Control is achieved through a 2-point room temperature controller or via pulse width modulation. The actuator from Danfoss enables comfortable regulation of the room climate by demand-driven opening and closing of the valve on the heating circuit distributor, radiator, or convector.
You can control the actuator as desired in combination with a floor heating actuator, directly via a wall thermostat with a switching output, or conventionally through an electromechanical wall thermostat. The actuator, which is opened when not powered, opens or closes the valve silently in about three minutes, with a maximum power consumption of only one watt.
Thanks to the patented sealing process with IP54, the actuator is reliably protected against splashing water. This allows it to be installed in any orientation. Installation is quick and easy with the appropriate VA80 valve adapter, which must be purchased separately if needed. The actuator can now be easily clicked onto the valve. It is compatible with all valves from the most common manufacturers such as Heimeier, MNG, Junkers, Honeywell-Braukmann, Oventrop, Comap, Schlösser, and many more that have a thread size of M30 x 1.5 mm.
