Thanks to the intelligent technology of the Nit EasyControl adapter, you can connect the Bosch EasyControl Smart Thermostat to both on/off central heating boilers and central heating boilers. With the Nit/Bosch EasyControl adapter, the Nit Easy Smart Thermostat module can also be connected to older Nit CV boilers and even to district heating systems.

Why do you need the Nit EasyControl? It creates its own communication language between Nit CV boilers, referred to as EMS. The Bosch EasyControl communicates with the Smart Thermostat via EMS by default. The EasyControl adapter ensures that the Nit EMS signal is converted into an OpenTherm or on/off signal.

If you do not have a Nefit HR boiler: The Bosch EasyControl is compatible with almost all other boiler brands using the EasyControl adapter. However, your device must be equipped with OpenTherm or a corresponding protocol. Most boilers that are less than 15 years old have this protocol. If in doubt, please contact your central heating boiler manufacturer.

If you have an older Nefit or Bosch HR boiler: The Bosch EasyControl thermostat is suitable for Nit Ecomline Excellent / Classic HR (C) / Nit Ecomline Economy HRC23 / 28V (or HRC23vtttt) HR / Bosch HRC.

EasyControl adapter: NeFit 9000i / Nit Trendline / Nit Topline Compact / Nit Topline / Nit / Nefit HRcii / HRSii / Bosch Condens 3000W / 6000W. For Nit Proline NXT devices, you will need the EasyControl adapter.
