Rectangular concrete body with a wooden insert made of thermally treated beech. Sealed concrete surface. Smaller air inclusions in the surface are intentionally desired and indicate that this is a cast natural product made from limestone, clay, and sand. Holds up to six knives (maximum blade length of 23 cm) and a honing steel. With a thin wall thickness of 12 mm, the block weighs only 3,280 g, contrary to any assumptions, making it easy to place on the countertop without worry. The furniture felt on the bottom of the block protects against scratches.
