The serving spoon is used for vegetables, rice, and potatoes, as well as for various casseroles. It is also known as a vegetable or potato spoon and is essential for serving food appropriately and perfectly. The serving spoon is larger than a tablespoon, and its round shape is better suited for scooping food. It features a long handle, which is advantageous when serving at the table. For the Nuova collection, designer Jutta Keil has created special cutlery for enjoyable moments, including brunch knives, cake servers, and salad utensils. These utensils are used depending on the situation and taste: egg spoons for soft-boiled breakfast eggs, lasagna servers for hearty pasta casseroles, and espresso and latte macchiato spoons for Italian coffee specialties. Designer André Stocker has taken a creative approach to the tongs in the collection, developing universal and pasta tongs, as well as asparagus and perforated serving tongs. The latter can hold mozzarella and tomatoes while leaving the marinade on the plate. The special cutlery and stable tongs are made of polished Cromargan and feature a simple, timeless design that fits any table setting. WMF offers the cutlery pieces individually or in sets, and they are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
