Votronic 1253 LCD thermometer / clock S display

This interesting device combination consists of a triple thermometer and an accurate quartz clock powered by the vehicle's electrical system. Notable features include the low power consumption of the unit and the large LCD display, which is easily readable from a distance. In unfavorable lighting conditions, the built-in white backlighting of the display ensures good visibility.

The thermometer component measures the ambient temperature using a sensor built into the device. Additionally, external remote measurement is possible with the included external sensor. This sensor can be mounted outside, for example, under the front bumper of the vehicle, to capture the outside temperature.

Another external measurement input is ideally suited for monitoring medication storage, coolers, or heating boxes. With a measurement resolution of 0.1 °C, the measurement ranges of all sensors are from -30 °C to +70 °C.

The clock component displays minutes and hours in a 24-hour format and features a blinking colon for function control. The day of the week is displayed in the lower line. The clock operates with high accuracy and has a power reserve against voltage failure. When operating in DCF mode, the display provides information through a separate segment.
