The characteristic fine ribbed texture has also been incorporated into the colored dishware, just like in the white version. All items in the Trend Colour porcelain series are made from natural raw materials. The glazing process, where all pieces are fired with the colored glaze, gives the collection its personal and distinctive style. To create new outstanding shades and effects, Rosenthal has developed this extraordinary colored glaze. The diverse shading effects on the finished product depend on how thickly the glaze is applied, causing the white porcelain body to appear either more or less translucent. The line relief also appears either lighter or darker, creating a particularly beautiful effect. The contrast effects give Trend Colour a modern handmade look, making each piece unique, which is the intended design.
