Before first use:
Nitrocast pans are porous and develop a non-stick effect the more they are used. Before the first use, wash thoroughly with soap and warm water. Then, spread cooking oil on the pan and heat it first on medium, then on high heat until the oil begins to smoke. After cooling, wipe out the pan. Hand wash only.
