EM77 Insulated Carafe. Almost an icon among thermos carafes: Originally designed by Erik Magnussen as a complement to the in-house Cylinda line by Arne Jacobsen in 1977, it quickly developed a highly successful identity of its own, largely due to its excellent usability. The thermos carafe became a kind of flagship for the entire range of the Danish manufacturer. With its straight, slender shape and a handle positioned for optimal balance, it is especially the unique tilting lid that makes handling so pleasant. This lid opens automatically when pouring and closes to retain heat when the carafe is set down. Awarded for its design and functionality, the EM77 Insulated Carafe fits perfectly on any table! Awards: Danish Design Award 2007, iF Product Design Award 1992.
