The cookie cutter is made of tinplate. Tinplate is a traditional material that has been used in households for decades. The surface is rust-protected but not rust-free, so it is not suitable for the dishwasher. Städter recommends rinsing the cutter after use and drying it thoroughly right away. A tip for perfect drying: After washing and drying, place the tinplate cutters on a warm radiator overnight or directly in the still-warm oven after baking until they cool down.
