Electronic temperature control readable via LED and flat hinge with soft-close mechanism. The "superCooling" function lowers the temperature for a certain time to cool down fresh food quickly. Refrigeration compartment: 2 x shelves, 1 x door shelf (high), 2 x door shelves, 3 x egg trays, 1 x bottle rack and 1 x "hyperFresh" box with humidity control. Freezer compartment: 1 x ice cube tray. The automatic defrost function saves labour and energy. It melts the ice on the inside rear wall of the appliance even when there is little ice build-up, collects the resulting condensation and forwards it to a drain or evaporation container. This prevents a large layer of ice from forming, which would reduce the cooling capacity and increase the energy requirement. It therefore saves you having to manually remove a thick layer of ice several times a year and at the same time keeps power consumption low.
