Die Optik der Maschine ist ebenso gelungen wie auch das Arbeitsergebnis, denn die Severin brüht aromatischen Kaffee und hält ihn auch recht lange auf Temperatur. Dabei ist aber leider keine Abschaltautomatik vorhanden und auch bis die Wärmeplatte auf Touren kommt, benötigt recht viel Zeit.

The "Café Caprice" has been the epitome of a perfect, enjoyable coffee experience since its market launch. Thanks to the Vapotronik brewing technology developed by Severin, the enchanting aroma of the coffee bean is optimally released. Water is slowly and evenly heated in the glass container and then flows over the coffee grounds in a surge. This significantly reduces tannins and bitterness.
It features a swing filter 1x4 with aroma protection lid and drip stop. An on-off switch with indicator light for keeping warm. A start button with indicator light for the brewing process. Fresh water scale in the stainless steel water reservoir and on the glass carafe. Cable storage compartment.
