Sisu is a soft yet durable hand knitting yarn that is reinforced with nylon. This makes it an ideal sock yarn, but because it is so soft, it is also suitable for other garments and accessories worn under overalls or jackets. In the early 1980s, the yarn was also popular for knitting sweaters, as the structure of the yarn highlights the knitting pattern particularly well. Garments made from Sisu wool have a long lifespan and maintain their beauty over several generations.

The yarn is superwash treated, allowing it to withstand frequent machine washing.
