Sisu is a soft yet durable hand knitting yarn that is reinforced with nylon. It is therefore an ideal sock yarn, but because it is so soft, it is also suitable for other garments and accessories worn under overalls or jackets. In the early 1980s, the yarn was also popular for knitting sweaters, as the structure of the yarn showcases the knitting pattern particularly well. Garments made from Sisu wool have a long lifespan and retain their beauty over several generations.

The yarn is superwash treated, making it resistant to frequent machine washing.
