Product details

Mini Alpakka is a pleasantly soft and fine alpaca yarn that is about three times warmer than regular wool. Mini Alpakka is the yarn with the best insulating properties in our range. The fiber is hollow on the inside. It is fluffy and breathable, making it feel warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot. Alpaca contains no lanolin.

Our alpaca is of Superfine quality. Superfine refers to a fiber fineness of 25-26 microns (micrometers). It is one of the softest alpaca qualities used for hand knitting yarns.

The same fiber is used for both Alpakka and Mini Alpakka, produced in different thicknesses – Mini Alpakka is spun with 3 strands, while Alpakka is spun with 4 strands.
