Product details

The yarn consists mainly of alpaca fibers, with a blend of wool and nylon fibers that form the structure. This results in a soft, lightweight, and airy yarn.

Alpaca is about three times warmer than regular wool, providing excellent insulation. The fiber is hollow and breathable, making it feel warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather. The wool content in this yarn adds durability and volume. Both alpaca and wool have good temperature-regulating properties.

Material composition: 62% alpaca, 29% nylon, and 9% wool

Wool origin: Wool from Uruguay, alpaca wool from Peru

Yardage: Approximately 150 meters per 50 grams

Recommended needle size: Knitting needle

Gauge: 18-16 stitches = 10 cm

Note: For machine washing, we recommend washing all wool items separately on a wool wash program to treat them as gently as possible. Spin gently and dry the garment flat, preferably lying on a towel. Never wash hand-knitted items in a laundry net/bag, as this can cause friction that may lead to felting.
