Product details

Brushed alpaca is made from alpaca fibers twisted with a strong nylon thread that holds everything together when the alpaca fibers are brushed. This results in a soft, lightweight, and airy yarn with a fluffy appearance.

Alpaca is about three times warmer than regular wool, providing excellent insulation. The fiber is hollow on the inside and breathable, making it feel warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather.

Material composition: 96% brushed alpaca, 4% nylon

Origin of raw materials: Peru

Yarn length: Approximately 110 meters per 50 grams

Recommended needle size: Knitting needle

Gauge: 18-12 stitches = 10 cm

Note: For machine washing, we recommend washing all wool items separately on a wool wash program to treat them as gently as possible. Spin gently and dry the garment flat, preferably lying on a towel. Never wash hand-knitted items in a laundry net/wash bag, as this can cause friction that may lead to felting.
