Junto - Together. The new series from Rosenthal lives up to its name. Designed collaboratively by Tonetti Design and Mario Padigkione, it not only brings family and friends together at the table. Junto playfully and unobtrusively combines various materials, designs, and colors in its different series such as Junto White, Junto Pearl Grey, Junto Ocean Blue, Junto Slate Grey, Junto Bronze, and Junto Wood. From porcelain to stoneware to warm wooden accessories made from American white oak, Rosenthal creates an innovative bridge that unites the past with modernity.

The production of the Junto stoneware collection follows a highly elaborate manufacturing process. All items are made from natural raw materials, and particularly the firing process combined with special glazes gives the series its own distinctive style. Junto stoneware is fired with so-called reactive glazes, which impart extraordinary color shades to the products. Depending on the applied glaze thickness, firing temperature, and atmospheric firing conditions, diverse effects such as speckled structures and a silky matte, dark sheen at the edges emerge on the ceramic surface.

This special process results in the characteristic, intentionally handcrafted look typical of all Junto pieces, with unique color gradients that in no way indicate a defect in the product and therefore do not constitute grounds for complaint. The reactive glaze creates the typical hand-glazed appearance on all Junto porcelain and stoneware items.
