The history of the Rosenthal manufactory dates back to 1879 when the now world-renowned company was founded by Philipp Rosenthal in Selb, Bavaria. Within just a few decades, the manufactory captivated the design world with interesting and rather traditional porcelain tableware, which is why such dishes are still offered in the Rosenthal Tradition edition today.
