In addition to plain water, finely chopped herbs like mint, edible flowers, berries, or pieces of ginger, lemon, and lime, as well as juice or syrup, can be mixed in. Covered with a matching lid, nothing will spill out while freezing the ice cube tray – provided that the silicone mold is placed somewhat level in the freezer.
