Alois Carigiet (August 30, 1902, Trun, Graubünden; August 1, 1985, Trun) was known for his work as a Swiss painter, illustrator, lithographer, and children's book author. Three of his most famous picture book works are "Schellenursli," "Der grosse Schnee," and "Flurina und das Wildvögelein." Especially the book "Schellenursli," written by Selina Chönz, led to national fame. The Engadine connection to nature and landscape is ever-present in Alois Carigiet's drawings. The unique Carigiet paintings are reflected in the ceramic products from Rheinfelden. All products are distinguished as special one-of-a-kind pieces crafted with love - just looking at this product line brings much joy.
