I have tried a few spaetzli/button sieves and have also been annoyed.
This is really the best!!!!
+ Super easy to make longer spaetzli or short knöpfli with just the scraper position.
+ Steam goes off to the side. It doesn't get hot like others.
+ Dough stays in the depression
+ Scraper can easily be placed in the "rack" when working, if dough gives way.
+ All dough is processed well
+ Very ergonomic
+ Super easy to clean
+ goes for different sizes of pans
