Melitta Caffeo Solo has been running since 2010 and won't break down
This is still real quality and the absolute opposite of all the machines that destroy themselves after 2-3 years or are so badly built that they have to go to the manufacturer for some reason and the manufacturer demands 500 Fr. for a repair, or 200 Fr. to screw them back together broken or - really great - free disposal (I experienced this with Canon with a camera that allegedly had water damage). After the warranty expired, I filed down the grinder's stop to get the powder espresso fine. So for the last 10 years it's been groaning a bit more because more pressure is needed, but the coffee is top notch. I thought it was worth it for a machine costing 400 francs, even if it broke after 4 years. But it's still running!

Machine is top.
Too bad I had to buy an adapter first before the first coffee. Machine was delivered with a SchuKo plug. Would be nice if an adapter is included with an EU device.
reliable, small coffee machine that makes very good coffee and is low maintenance.
I did not buy this machine here but am still very satisfied for a good 2 years. It can do exactly one thing: make very good coffee. That's exactly what I wanted. No frills. And it is very cheap.
