The resolution is 0.1 degrees. For example, one reads off: 22.9 degrees. However, this says nothing about the accuracy. With simple devices like this one, it is a maximum of plus/minus one degree. Of course, there is nothing about this in the description of the device. It is a very elegant, low-priced device.

I only know the version with cable and as it is quite thin it should go through the window seal well, preferably on a window sash that is rarely opened.

Hello 'Bryce', for replacing the battery, just remoe the old one and put a new (1x CR2032) button cell battery in the device (+ pol above). The old values should be deleted afterwards. Kind regards Your TFA Support

the sensor cable cannot be extended ... it is approx. 80 cm.... which means that you have to place this thermometer near the window so that you can lead the sensor outside ... but the cable is so fine ... that this is possible without any problems in the hinge area of the window ... I glued the thermometer to the window frame and it works perfectly.

The cable is 150 cm long.
