If you want to disconnect the appliance completely, unplug it from the electrical socket after use. Make sure you never pull on the cord to unplug the appliance, but rather remove it from the socket by holding the plug itself.

1.2 kg fries according to the manufacturer. Has that much space. But then it doesn't get evenly crispy. That's why 1 kg is the limit for me.
