Generally, you can never vacuum liquids 100% airtight with commercial devices, because the pressure is stronger than the liquid. Caution is advised when vacuuming liquids, I have experienced many a mess in my professional life. I use this appliance very often privately, for liquids I do it as follows: Fill, insert the bag, remove the air by hand (this works very well with a lying bag!) and then seal the bag with the welding function without vacuuming. If you want to vacuum 100% airtight, then chill the liquid deeply in a flat container and then vacuum completely or in broken pieces. Greetings LH
I use it to vacuum pack all sorts of things. I primarily use it for sous-vide cooking. But vegetables are also no problem. It is only suitable to a limited extent for very liquid things.
The one stored into the top part of the device? Check out the third picture.
Unplug it, leave cover open, place it to a hot corner under sun light and wait like 5~7 days... then try again. If not, repeat the process until it dries complety...
Any vacuum bag, the brand does nor matter
Works with other bags too
I only do this on moist and gentle. And then take a bigger bag. That way it works and it's enough
The opening of the vacuum bag must be placed in the vacuum chamber, i.e. the one surrounded by the rubber seals. If the opening goes over the vacuum chamber, vacuuming will not take place.
I still paid 88.90.- in January 2019.
I think that other plastic films will be compatible -
You can. However, the chips are crushed in the process...
No, unfortunately there is no compartment for the film, nor a knife. Otherwise good product, works without problem for more than 2 years.
In the information it is written: "Includes two rolls of vacuum bagging film 922.51". The 20x600 rolls have the manufacturer's number 922.51. The 15x600 rolls have the manufacturer's number 922.52 This means that 20x600 rolls are included.
