Is the matching vacuum foil suitable for sous-vide cooking (minimum heat resistance) ?

Absolutely, this is explicitly mentioned by the manufacturer. With sous vide, cooking is not done at high temperatures anyway. A nice piece of meat is cooked at between 52 and 56 degrees, depending on your taste, or vegetables at around 60 to 65 degrees, so nothing happens to the plastic. BUT, it is important to order the right bags, as not all Vac films are suitable. It is best to reorder using the product number.

Yes, the two foil rolls supplied with the appliance are suitable for sous-vide. However, this does not apply to all Solis vacuum foils, so be sure to choose the appropriately marked foils when purchasing additional foils. Caution: In my experience, the food must never be too wet (e.g. from marinades, oil or meat juices), as the vacuum pump sucks in the liquids, which then get into the sealing seam during sealing and lead to a leaky seal. If you want to vacuum seal purees, liquids, powders or similar, this appliance is therefore not suitable.

Yes it is, has always worked perfectly. The vacuum bag is also "food safe".
