Does this only work with 'original' SodaStream cylinders or also with other brands? The cylinders are standardised. We were able to exchange the empty Sodastream cylinders for full ones of the Coop brand at the Coop the other day. But if we now have to annoyingly exchange them for money again in order to take advantage of this offer, that would be a dealbreaker.

You definitely don't get your customers back that way. so keep buying from Coop ;) https://www.sodastream.ch/zylindertausch/ NOTE: Only original SodaStream cylinders will be exchanged for original SodaStream cylinders 1:1. If there is no SodaStream empty cylinder or if there is a third-party cylinder in the milk container, a usage fee of CHF 35 (incl. VAT) per cylinder will be charged.

Hi! I just bought this CO2 filling (first time) and I am unsure how this exchange works. Do I get an alert from the mailman to leave the empty bottle in the milk crate the day before delivery? It is not clear. Thanks

Helpful answer

The CO2 tube fits the standard post box. You can leave it already there even when ordering. Once your order arrives, s/he will take the old one and put back the new one.. If you want to do it just the night before, you can also track your shipment (post.ch).
