What is the diameter at the widest point, i.e. the ring? I could ideally put the earlier model in a 5dl thermos.

This device will probably need 230V. Also the power consumption of 400W could also be a little bit high for a 12V car plug.

Is this immersion heater available in the shop in Zurich so I can see how big it is? Or can you give me the measurements, i.e. height and width of this product.

They certainly have a whole collection of immersion heaters in the shop! A whole 8 metre long wall full of lel I found something like this on Google about the "travel immersion heater Inox 201" on one page: "Size L 20 cm" We have a Schuko plug as indicated here on the page. I have not found the manufacturer's page or the official data sheet.
