Hello Svoert You can control the heating either on the heating itself or via the app. The heating level can also be set in the app. I wouldn't be aware that the heating automatically adjusts the level as needed, but I think it's good that this isn't the case. After all, we are talking about 1500W at the highest level. Comfort, Sleep and Away are individual room temperatures that can be planned granularly per day over the week.

Here's what the instructions say: "The "open window" function can be deactivated / activated by pressing and holding the settings button for a minimum of 3 seconds. You can also deactivate/activate the "window open" function from the application if it is configured for WiFi. The heater will remain in "window open" mode for a maximum of 1 hour. After 1 hour, it will automatically return to normal mode."
