Depends on the heating system. The module does exactly the same as a normal radiator thermostat. That is, the pin in the valve is pushed in with the help of a motor. (a few mm). However, there is also an actuator for underfloor heating, which can then control the standard motors of underfloor heating valves.

The HomeMatic HM-CC-RT-DN is suitable for control of heaters (radiators, convection heaters, heater bars) heated by heat carriers. There is no additional hardware necessary.
