I have to clean the filter every fortnight. Then it runs much quieter. But it only shows when it's dirty. Fortunately.

The only difference is the accessories. The Extra has an extra battery, a Dyson holder instead of just a wall mount and so on, just compare. :-)
The Complete (3rd variant), on the other hand, is supposed to have a Hepa filter.

According to research, the filters still cannot be cleaned in the washing machine, but you have to wash them out by hand. Dire yellow-purple floor nozzle can be washed out, but the other accessories cannot be cleaned with water.
