I use the unit on parquet and tiles and am very satisfied. I have no experience on vinyl floors - but I can say that the less unevenness, the better it works.
I did not have an adapter with me, but I ordered from DE. It came with a bottle of detergent and I was able to use it immediately. It is a squeegee and not a hoover.
Last Saturday, I made a complaint about another appliance via Bissell-Side and received a reply with queries directly on Monday. I answered them the same day and received a promise of a replacement on Tuesday. So I had a rather good experience, even though it was announced that there might be delays due to a recall.
In the case described, however, I would have reacted the same way. After all, you need the devices all the time.
Some products come from Germany and therefore have a European plug. If this is the case we provide an adapter. :)
If we are still missing one, please contact us by email and we will send you one!

The Crosswave is very good but not a jack of all trades. I have 3 dogs and the hair sticks to the floor even when you can't see it. I have a 60m2 ceramic tiled floor. Around the aviary of my 2 parrots, fruit remains also stick very firmly. The only thing that helps is moistening it once with the Crosswave and then loosening it with a hand scraper and then vacuuming it off. Even in the kitchen, where there are sometimes dried stains, it doesn't just go away like that, sometimes you just have to get to grips with the situation by running a lot of water over it several times. In my experience, it's not because of the brush roll. I make sure that the roller is properly engaged and turns freely. I have switched to pre-vacuuming with my Dyson and roller brush and then the dirty water tank and the filter are not fully blocked straight away. Oh yes, the cleaning agent is expensive but not the best either, there are better agents for my case. I use a commercially available cleaner that doesn't foam. And of course always clean the dirty water tank, filter and roller after every floor cleaning and the pipe to the dirty water tank is often clogged with hair. I'm actually very happy with the Cross Wave. I think everyone has to go their own way, as it was cheap. I always wanted a corded wet vacuum cleaner because I don't like having to charge the battery all the time. I think everyone has their own experience with their own cleaning problem. Greetings!
On 31.01.2023 I received an email from galaxus with a callback for this device and the request not to use it from now on (although my device has always worked perfectly - but supposedly there is a fire risk because of the battery). On 02.02.2023 I sent in my details (as requested) to Bissell and so far nothing. Today I called Bissell and was informed that my device will probably not be collected until next month and will then be in repair for at least another 2 weeks until it is returned. No apology, no effort to make amends. Too bad - customer satisfaction doesn't really seem to be important at Bissell. I actually need the machine once a week and have not been able to clean for over 2 weeks now. So I would keep my hands off this brand in the future.
It is suitable for parquet. Regarding the use of third-party products, here is what the brand states on its website:
"Yes, you can use another product of your choice with Crosswave. However, it is strictly forbidden to use household vinegar, or any other acidic product, which will lead to corrosion of your appliance. This will invalidate the warranty of your appliance. Also, the use of products that generate foam is not recommended. Finally, you will probably need to do several tests to find the ideal dosage that leaves no traces. The advantage of Bissell cleaning products is that they have been developed specifically for use with your CrossWave and are perfectly dosed for it."
