No, this aluminum model is not suitable for direct use on an induction stove. However, it can still be used with a suitable induction adapter plate for espresso makers up to 9 cups.
Yes, you can use it on a ceramic hob. The espresso maker is made of aluminum and is suitable for electric stovetops; however, it does not work directly on induction hobs.
Yes, it works on a standard electric stove. It is an aluminium moka pot, so it is suitable for gas and electric hobs, but not for induction without an adapter.
The 6-cup version of the espresso maker produces around 250 to 300 ml of coffee, depending on the model and source (e.g. 270 ml for Moka Express). The exact amount may vary as it is designed for small Italian espresso cups (ristretto).
No, this Moka pot is not compatible with induction heat. It is made of aluminium, which does not work directly on induction hobs unless you use a special induction adapter plate.
You can easily use this model on a standard ceramic hob; a gas hob is not absolutely necessary. The aluminium espresso maker is suitable for all types of cooker as long as the heat source is not too strong and the heat is evenly distributed.
This coffee maker, made of aluminium and designed as a traditional Moka pot, does not work directly on induction stoves. Standard aluminium Moka pots are not compatible with induction hobs unless used with a specific induction plate adapter. Bialetti Moka pots require such an adapter for induction use, as they are not inherently induction-compatible.
Therefore, without an induction adapter, this aluminium Moka pot will not work on an induction stove.
The Bialetti Moka Express does not work directly on induction cookers because it is made of aluminium, which does not support induction. However, it is possible to use the Moka Express on an induction hob if you use an induction protection plate or an adapter placed between the Moka Pot and the hob.
Hello Kornel
Normally not. However, before using the machine for the first time with coffee (ground for mocha), it should only be boiled with water so that everything tastes clean and not so metallic. If the metal plates are loose, it was simply not blown out cleanly during production.
Note: If you have a cooker with 9 levels, use level 5/6, otherwise the coffee will taste "burnt"!
Hope this helps and you can enjoy the mocha!
